A derby Sister in Need

 Please help our Derby Sister.
A Derby Revolution of Bakersfield skater "Imma Cougar" sustained an awful injury at Red Red this past weekend. She broke her ankle in two places and dislocated it. She is a single mother of two small children (with Christmas right around the corner) and can't work due to her injury. She is scheduled to have surgery and is going to be charged $1000 for the surgery and $1500 for an implant in her leg. We are trying to reach out to the derby community (and anyone else that can help) Please help our fellow sister out with anything you can. We have set up an account through Paypal.

3000 Pairs of Socks

3000 Pairs of Socks is A LOT of socks, however it is what young LaVencia is trying to collect this year. Last year she collected over 1200 pair of socks that she distributed between three Metro Atlanta Children's Hospitals.
It all started last year when LaVencia's mother didn't have much money but wanted to teach her daughter the true meaning of Christmas; The Spirit of Giving. Together they started Sock it to Me, Inc, a non-profit organization. Little did LaVencia's mother know she gave her daughter a lifetime gift. The courage and passion to help others.

Lets all make this a Christmas to remember. Lets help LaVencia meet her goal.

Once you have your socks, please mail them to:

Sock It To Me, Inc.
P. O. Box 576
McDonough, Georgia  30253
*We definately welcome your socks but as a small reminder your donated socks must be new!
